The College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Safwa University College during a ceremony held at the Deanery of the College of Engineering, University of Kerbala. The MoU was signed by Professor Dr. Haidar Nazim Aziz Al-Mahna, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala, and Professor Dr. Ali Zaalan, Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs at Al-Safwa University College, representing their respective institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Haidar Jaleel Al-Ghurabi, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at Al-Safwa University College; Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Muhammad Jawad, Vice Dean of the College of Engineering; and Professor Dr. Mahdi Nasrallah, Head of the Business Administration Department at Al-Safwa University College.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes a set of key provisions that serve as a strategic framework for advancing engineering and scientific collaboration between the two institutions. Its primary objective is to enhance academic standards, foster stronger cooperative relations, and create new opportunities for collaboration in various academic disciplines. Additionally, the MoU aims to elevate the scientific caliber of both institutions while supporting the implementation of the Bologna Process and evaluation examinations.
This initiative aligns with the broader framework of joint scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities and reflects the commitment of the Deanery of the College of Engineering to actively promote and strengthen collaboration between public and private universities.
